About this course
The Winter Duathlon hosted by the Hamilton Triathlon Club takes place at the KartSport Hamilton venue, known for its well-maintained facilities and closed-course setting. This event is part of a series designed to accommodate various skill levels, promoting community involvement in multisport activities.
Participants can select from two formats. The Open Duathlon caters to experienced athletes and adheres to Tri NZ drafting rules, providing a competitive environment for seasoned racers. In contrast, the Try-A-Duo option is aimed at juniors and newcomers, offering a supportive atmosphere for those who may be less familiar with competitive biking.
The course comprises a combination of running and cycling segments, allowing participants to experience a range of challenges within a compact and safe venue. The event fosters a sense of camaraderie among competitors, encouraging both participation and community engagement. Non-members are invited to join, further enhancing the inclusive spirit of the event.
