The NBS Tinbum Triathlon is a community-focused event set in the scenic Golden Bay region, known for its stunning coastal views and welcoming atmosphere. Starting from the Pohara Top 10 Holiday Park, participants will experience a course that combines diverse elements of the triathlon format.
The event begins with a 300m swim in the clear waters of Pōhara, allowing athletes to take in the natural beauty of the area. Following the swim, competitors will transition to a 6.5km mountain biking segment that traverses varied terrain, providing a taste of the local landscape. The race concludes with a flat 5km beach run, where participants can enjoy the coastal scenery as they make their way along the beach and return via a designated path towards the golf course.
