The Next Level Fitness Race, based at the TET Stadium & Events Centre, features a course that intertwines running on track and grass with a variety of exercise stations. The event is marked by its distinctive format, intertwining 12 segments of 400-meter runs with 12 fitness challenges. These challenges are unique in their exclusive use of bodyweight, kettlebells, dumbbells, and weight plates for the exercises.
Participants can choose from three entry categories: open, pairs, and team relay. In the pairs category, participants run together but tackle the fitness stations individually in a chipper style, which means they complete all reps of one exercise before moving to the next. The team relay category caters to groups such as clubs, corporate teams, and friends, dividing the race into sections where each of the four members runs one segment of 400 meters and completes one set of the exercise challenges.
This race not only tests individual physical endurance and strength but also emphasizes teamwork and strategy, especially in the relay and pairs categories. The atmosphere is vibrant, fostering a sense of community and shared challenge among participants.
