The race
The course features a scenic 8.4km route that begins at Waitangi Park and follows the waterfront, showcasing Wellington’s inner city harbour. Runners will navigate along Evans Bay Parade, turning onto Cobham Drive before reaching the Miramar Roundabout for a turnaround. The route concludes at Kilbirnie Park, offering participants beautiful views throughout the journey.
The Half Marathon utilizes a certified course, ensuring accuracy for those aiming for personal bests. Both events are designed to create a lively atmosphere, characterized by various entertainment options along the route, contributing to a vibrant community celebration.
