Wellington Waterfront 5K: February

The Wellington Waterfront 5K Fun Run & Walk offers participants a scenic route along the bustling waterfront. The course begins on the east side of the link span bridge/diving platform and takes runners and walkers past notable landmarks such as the Te Papa Museum. It continues past the lively marina area, rounds Clyde Quay Wharf, and extends to Oriental Bay. Participants then loop back just past Carlton Gore Road to the starting point.

The course is well-marshaled at key points, including the Clyde Quay Wharf turn and the traffic turnarounds, ensuring safety and smooth navigation for all participants. This event is part of the Wellington Waterfront 5K Series managed by the Wellington Scottish Athletics Club, highlighting community involvement and encouraging both competitive and casual participants to enjoy the vibrant waterfront setting.
