The race
This event features both long and short course options, along with a dedicated kids’ event, catering to a range of participants. The courses are designed to take advantage of the scenic surroundings, offering swimmers a refreshing experience in local waters before transitioning to the run segment, which typically showcases the natural beauty of the Taupo region.
The series promotes community involvement and encourages newcomers to participate, with a welcoming atmosphere that supports both seasoned athletes and those trying out multisport events for the first time. Participants have the opportunity to engage in two events before membership is required, fostering an inclusive environment.
Scheduled on Monday evenings throughout the Spring and Summer, this series provides a regular opportunity for individuals and families to come together and enjoy the camaraderie of the local sports community.
