Big Trig Rogaine

The Big Trig Rogaine offers a unique blend of team-based navigation and adventure set against the varied landscapes of the Porirua area. Participants form teams ranging from two to five members to explore the course, which is distinguished by its hilly terrain, indicative of the event’s name, “Trig.” The event features a selection of up to 50 control points, which are strategically placed to encourage both competitive strategizing and family participation. Each control point requires teams to answer a question related to a visible man-made feature or to identify a specific code-word tied to an orange ribbon.

The event is structured with options of 6 or 3 hours, allowing teams to choose their preferred duration based on physical ability and experience. The design of the course and the control points cater to a wide range of skill levels, from seasoned adventurers seeking a challenging terrain to families and less experienced participants looking for a less demanding, enjoyable outing.
