This event features a scenic course that ascends Wainuiomata Hill, offering participants stunning views from the lookout point. The Half Hill 6.5km route leads runners to the lookout and back, while the Full Hill 10km extends the challenge by continuing over the hill before returning to the start.
Participants can choose to run or walk, making it accessible for various fitness levels. The atmosphere is community-focused, encouraging friends and families to join in. A notable aspect is the Buggy Half Hill option, designed for families with prams and other wheeled transport, ensuring inclusivity for all. Additionally, a flat 1km kids’ dash caters to younger participants aged 5 to 10 years.
