This community-oriented event features a flat and fast course that meanders around the scenic bays, beginning at the Clyde Quay Car Park. Participants can choose to walk, jog, run, or roll the distance at their own pace, fostering an inclusive atmosphere. While the event is untimed, there are prizes and finisher medals for all who complete the course.
The event supports the Wellington Rape Crisis, which has been providing essential services to survivors of sexual harm in the region for nearly 50 years. Participation contributes to vital fundraising efforts, ensuring continued access to social work, counselling, advocacy, and support for those in need. This race not only promotes physical activity but also strengthens community ties and raises awareness for an important cause.
