WMSC Biathlon Spring & Summer Series 12

The Biathlon Series organized by the Wairarapa Multisports Club takes place on Thursday evenings during the spring and summer months. Participants can select from various Biathlon distances that combine biking and running, with options available for both mountain biking and road cycling. The running segment utilizes a straightforward course where 2.5km runners will turn around at a designated cone.

Additionally, there are opportunities for those who prefer to participate in run/walk or bike-only formats. The event is inclusive, welcoming participants of all abilities. Start times are staggered, allowing the fastest participants to set off last, which helps ensure that those who are slower do not finish last on the course.

The event begins and concludes at the Henley Lake Mens Shed car park, conveniently located off Colombo Road in Masterton. The transition area for moving from biking to running occurs at the same site, streamlining the logistics for participants.
